Louisville -- Dolan Poynter Bryant, 61, Louisville, died Thursday, August 1, 1996 at his home.

He was a native of Hart County, the son of the late Poynter and Adeline Powell Bryant and was employed at Louisville Stoneware for 40 years. A daughter, Patricia K. Basham and a son Wendel Ray Bryant preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife Sylvia Bryant, Louisville; three daughters, Rebecca Jewell, Canmer; Janice Fay Fletcher, Elizabethtown; three sisters, Kathleen Atwell, Hardyville; Silvonie Reynolds and Lula Spalding, both of Louisville; a step-daughter, Sherry Spencer, Hardyville; tow step-sons, Jerry Spencer and Dennis Spencer; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. EDT Monday at W. G. Hardy Valley Chapel, Louisville. Graveside services were held at Whickerville Cemetery at 2 p.m. on Monday. Local arrangements were by Sego Funeral Home of Munfordville.
