Hardyville -- Poynter Bryant, 91, Rt. 2, retired farmer, died Sunday, June 29, at the Homewood Health Care Center. His parents were the late William and Monwonford Green Bryant.
Survivors include one son, Dolan Bryant, Louisville; three daughters, Kathleen Atwell, Rt. 2, Hardyville; Silovine Reynolds and Lula Belle Spalding, both of Louisville; 20 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Wednesday, 1 p.m., at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. Burial was in the Whickerville Cemetery.

Glasgow -- Mrs. Adeline P. Bryant, 78, Hardyville, died Sunday, January 23 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.
She was the daughter of the late James William and Lula James Powell. She is survived by her husband, Poynter Bryant, Hardyville; four daughters, Kathleen Atwell, Route 2, Hardyville; Silovine Reynolds and Lula Belle Hagan, both of Louisville; Norma Higdon, Munfordville; a son, Dolan P. Bryant, Valley Station; 14 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Corine Hiser, East View; Mattie Lile, Louisville; a brother, James Powell, California.
Funeral Services were conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home in Glasgow with Bro. Paul Smith and Rev. Gerald Scott officiating. Burial was in Wickerville Cemetery.
