Munfordville -- Floyd Washington Philpott, 69, Route 1, Bonnieville, died at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 3, at Caverna Memorial Hospital in Horse Cave.
He was a retired farmer, the son of the late Mr. & Mrs Hobert Philpott and a member of teh Cave Springs Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs Mable Polston Philpott, Route 1, Bonnieville; three daughters, Rene Childress, Brownsville, Donna Rutledge, Hardyville, Melissa Philpott, at home; two sons, Robert Philpott, Hodgenville, Danny Philpott at home; three sisters, Mrs. Goldie Hayes, Mres Ethel Russell and Mrs. Bertha Bryant all of Horse Cave; two brothers, Clyde Philpott, Hodgenville, Carl Philpott, Cave City; three step daughters, Wilma Dennis, Bonnieville, Bonnie Weider, Canmer, Rita Biggs, Hodgenville; a step son Harvey Logsdon, Horse Cave; 19 grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Chapel of Stearman Funeral Home in Munfordville with the Rev. James Jackson officiating. Burial was in the Concord Cemetery.
