Dorothy Green Kerr, 79, of Horse Cave passed away at 3:45 p.m. April 26, 2007 at the home of her daughter in Bowling Green. The Hart County native was the daughter of the late Louis Green and Mattie Denton Green. She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Kerr and two brothers, Tommy Green of Cave City and Bobby Green of Horse Cave.
Mrs. Kerr was an employee and later owner of the Midway Cafe for 37 years.She was well known for her wonderful cooking and home made pies. She treasured her years and the friends she made during her time at the cafe.
Dorothy was a faithful Christian and a founding member of Victory Hill Ministries in Scottsville, Ky. After a lengthy illness , she praised God daily for the extra years He gave her with her family.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday April 29, 2007 in the Chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial in the Fairview Cemetery in Bowling Green. Visitation from 2 until 9 p.m. Saturday and after 9 a.m. Sunday until funeral time.

Survivors Include

Survivors include one daughter, Suesan Kerr Cox and her husband,Robert of Bowling Green.One sister, Thelma Melvin of Horse Cave and one brother, Ray Green and his wife Bea of Glasgow,
one sister-in-law, Evelyn Green of Cave City. She had three grandchildre, Jinny Pendergrast and her husband Mike of Johns Island, South Carolina, her two sons Andrew and Aiden, Jason Towe and his wife Laura of Nashville, Tennessee, and Bonnie Williams and her husband John of Bowling Green and their three sons, Preston, Jackson and Sawyer. She had a precious best friend , Pat Thompson of Horse Cave and several nieces and nephews. She was very much loved and will be missed by her daughter, Suesan. Our heartfelt thanks go out to Dr. David Smith and Hospice of Bowling Green for their excellent care and compassion.
