Teresa Melvin, age 41, of Hardyville, KY, passed away Friday, November 9, 2012, at her residence in Hardyville, KY. The Hart County native was born May 22, 1971. She had worked as a CNA for Caverna Memorial Hospital, Dr. Clem Nichols and various nursing homes. Ms. Melvin was also a member of the Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Canmer, KY. She is survived by her Parents: Kenneth and Geraldine Melvin, Canmer, KY; One Sister: Martha Perkins, Canmer, KY; Maternal Grandmother: Dorothy McKinney, Canmer, KY; Several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her Paternal Grandparents: Roy and Oda Melvin; Maternal Grandfather: Wiley McKinney; and a Brother-In-Law: Billy Perkins. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, KY where the family will receive friends from 3:00 PM CT to 9:00 PM CT, Monday, November 12, 2012 at Brooks Funeral Home. At Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church from 9:00 AM CT to time of service, Tuesday, November 13, 2012. Funeral service will be at the church at 11:00 AM CT, Tuesday, November 13, 2012 with Bro. Barry Locke officiating. Interment will be at Pearl Webb Cemetery, Canmer, KY.
