Rev. J.D. Logsdon, Sr., age 81 of Wingfield, passed away Saturday, June 2, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.

He is survived by his wife Flossie, a son J.D. Logsdon, Jr. and wife Hilda, five daughters Kathy Massey and husband Ray, Tereasa Minton and husband Owen, Lisa Massey and husband Dale, Laurie Mills and husband Mike, all of Wingfield, and Sharon Meredith and husband Mike of Bee Springs, and one sister Alberta Watt of Bowling Green. 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services for Rev. J.D. Logsdon, Sr. will be held at 2pm Tuesday, June 5, at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church with burial in the Hawks Cemetery. Visitation is in progress.
