TOMPKINSVILLE — Pearl Isenberg Thomas, 90, of Tompkinsville, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011, at Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville. She was born Oct. 25, 1920, in Monroe County to the late Hershel Isenberg and Lona Davis Isenberg. She was a retired factory worker for Key Industries and a member of the Indian Creek Baptist Church. She was united in marriage on June 9, 1935 to Tom Thomas. She is survived by her husband, Tom Thomas of Tompkinsville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Estes Earl and Patty Thomas of Tompkinsville and Carl D. and Clarice Thomas of Austin; two daughters and sons-in-law, Clara and Cletas Geralds and Linda and Reggie Spear all of Tompkinsville; two brothers, Marvin Isenberg of Lamb, Rancel Isenberg of French Lick, Ind.; three sisters, Allene Wood of Mt. Hermon, Anna Dean Turner of Tompkinsville and Reba Jean Crowe of Ft. Run; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren also survive. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Eva Ree Duvall; two brothers, Wendell and Edwin Isenberg and a sister, Motie Fox. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Aug. 13 at 11 a.m. at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in Monroe County Memorial Lawn.
