Edna Frances (Buckner) Hawkins

Edna Frances Hawkins, age 98, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2015, at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY. She was a homemaker and a member of Ninth & O Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Samuel Rowlett Buckner and the late Virgie Pearl Moss Buckner. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Freeman Hawkins and a son James Donald Hawkins and a great great granddaughter, Kimberly Taylor.

She is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth Ann Houk; one son, Gary Wayne Hawkins and wife Kristine; four grandchildren, Deborah Foster and husband Glenn, Michael Wilson and wife Kimberly, Lisa Vincent and husband Richard, Stephanie Boles and husband Brad; eight great grandchildren, Jason Taylor and wife Ashley, Zachary Vincent, Kaitlyn Vincent, Rachel Wilson, Nicholas Boles, Brandon Vincent, Moses Wilson, Jacob Wilson; five great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday, October 19, 2015. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Monday, October 19, 2015 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Barry Locke officiating. Interment will be at Pearl Webb Cemetery, Canmer, KY.
