Archie T. Beeler Sr.

MUNFORDVILLE - Archie Thomas Beeler Sr., 72, of West Point died at 10:10 a.m. EST March 5, 2006, at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Louisville.

 

The Louisville native worked on the assembly line at General Electric and was a Baptist. He was a Korean War Army veteran. He was a son of the late Christopher C. Beeler and Mary Burks Beeler. He was preceded in death by two sons, Ricky Thomas Beeler and Brian Timothy Beeler.

Funeral is at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Brooks Funeral Home, with burial in Jaggers Cemetery in Cub Run. Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and begins at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Lee Hollis Beeler; four sons, Jerry Dean Beeler and his wife, Dorothy, of Central City, Richard Lee Beeler and his wife, June, of Louisville, Christopher Columbus Beeler and his wife, Donna, of West Point and Archie Thomas Beeler Jr. of Lebanon Junction; four daughters, Darlene Marie Ditmore and her husband, Tim, of Versailles, Beverly Elaine Kellems and her husband, Denny, of Tell City, Ind., Vickie Lynn Ashcraft and her husband, Dawayne, of Owensboro, and Jina Ann Beeler of Louisville; two sisters, Ruth Bullington of Leavenworth, Ind., and Georgie Masters of Leitchfield; a brother, Lonnie Beeler of Louisville; 28 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
