Jean Bush McGuire, age 84, of Cave City passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. She was a Hart County native and a member of the Cave City Baptist Church where she enjoyed volunteering her time at the food pantry and clothes closet. She was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother and her hobbies included shopping and playing cards with her friends at the Cave City Community Center.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, James Bush and Hannah Jaggers Bush, and by three brothers, George Bush, Harry Bush and Murl Bush.
She is survived by three daughters, Beverly McGuire Gentry, of Louisville, Nada Denison and her husband, Waymon, of Horse Cave, and Connie Moore, and her husband, Greg, of Glasgow, her grandchildren, Bryan Gentry and his wife, Natalie, of Tell City , IN, Todd Gentry of Bowling Green, Amanda Denison , Bowling Green , Mary Chris Denison of Louisville, Benji Moore and his wife, Tiffany, of Glasgow, and Erica Brownstead and her husband, Colt, of Glasgow, and two great-grandchildren, Taylor Gentry and Tate McGuire, and several nieces, nephews and loving friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2015, in the Chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 2 until 8 p.m. on Thursday at Winn Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. until service time on Friday. |
