Glasgow Daily Times (KY) - Wednesday, July 30, 2014 Deceased Name: Allene Isenberg Wood, 89, of Glasgow GLASGOW — Allene Isenberg Wood, 89, of Glasgow, was called to her eternal home, Wednesday morning, July 30, 2014, at the home of her son, Gerald and Karen Wood. She was born on Nov. 23, 1924, in Gamaliel, to the late Hershel B. and Lona Davis Isenberg. She was preceded death by her husband, Marvie Earl Wood. She was a homemaker, enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family. She was a member of Dover Missionary Baptist Church near Mount Hermon. She is survived by her children, Mary Ann Butler and husband Jimmy, of Columbus, Ind., Nelda Walden, of Tompkinsville, Darrell Wood and wife Runell, of Cave City, Ronnie Wood and wife Fannie, of Glasgow and Gerald Wood and wife Karen, of Etoile; 11 grandchildren, Kerry Butler, Sherry Schneider (Jeff), Stacy Watson (Michael), Kevin Wood, Kimberly Wood, Katrina Bartley (Dusty), Kellie Wood, Emilie Dickson (Wesley), Justin Wood (Shawna), Corey Wood (Hollie) and Derek Wood; 26 great-grandchildren, Raelyn Butler, Heather Daniels, Callie Schneider, Sean Schneider, Sierra Schneider, Matthew Watson (Kelly), Joshua Watson, Sydney Watson, Dylan Wood, Jordan Wood, Madison Wood, Austin Curtis, McKenzie Curry, Jase Bartley, Thomas Dickson, Luke Dickson, Xavier Wood, Ephraim Wood, Perez Wood, Asher Wood, Hosanna Wood, Miller Wood, Evie Wood, Grant Wood, Nora Wood and Nash Wood; four great-great-grandchildren, Keagan Daniels, Clayton Daniels, Keaston Watson and Karlee Watson; two sisters, Anna Dean Turner, of Tompkinsville and Reba Crowe, of Fountain Run; two brothers, Rancel Isenberg, of French Lick, Ind. and Marvin Isenberg, of Tompkinsville; two sisters-in-law, Marie Sherfey, of Glasgow and Pearline Norris, of Flora, Ind., along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sisters, Motie Fox and Pearl Thomas, two brothers, Edwin Isenberg and Wendell Isenberg and a son-in-law, Ted Walden. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
