Glasgow Daily Times Friday, September 24, 2004 Verice Isenberg TOMPKINSVILLE - Funeral services for Verice Isenberg will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the Yokley-Trible Funeral Home with burial in the Monroe County Memorial Lawn. Mr. Isenberg died Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2004, at Norton Hospital in Louisville. He was 79. The Monroe County native was born Jan. 13, 1925. He was a carpenter and a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a son of the late Clarence and Grace Turner Isenberg. Survivors include six sons: Bill Isenberg of Sellerburg, Ind., Steve, Freddie and Max Isenberg, all of Tompkinsville, Roger Isenberg of Austin, Todd Isenberg of Mt. Hermon; four daughters: Joletta Emberton of Tompkinsville, Joan Meadows of Bowling Green, Martha Vinson of Bugtussle, and Abby White of Scottsville; two brothers: Leon Isenberg and Selva Isenberg, both of Tompkinsville; one sister, Glenda Burnett of Louisville; 20 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; and nine step-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nelda Evelyn Wheat Isenberg; one son, Ricky Isenberg; two brothers, Mitchell and James Isenberg; and one sister, Eva Witte. Visitation will be Saturday after 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
