Lawrence Ray "Larry" Davenport, age 56, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2014, at his residence in Munfordville, KY. He was a rural mail carrier, square dance caller and instructor, designed and painted quilt blocks for the barns in Hart County, cabinet maker and the music leader and member of Calvary Baptist Church. 

He was the son of the late C. M. Davenport and the late Beulah Nalia Davenport Rose.

He is survived by his wife, Felicia Frost Davenport; two step daughters, Marcie McClure, Buffalo, KY, Amy McClure, Arvada, CO; one sister, Pam Scott and husband Al, Liberty, KY; two brothers, Buddy Davenport, Elizabethtown, KY, Jimmy Davenport and wife Toni, Elizabethtown, KY; three nieces and one nephew, Heather & Ashley Milby, Brandon & Shelby Davenport.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM CT, Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Brooks Funeral Home and from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM CT, Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church in Bonnieville.  Funeral service will be 3:30 PM CT, Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church with Bro. Glenn Routt officiating. Interment will be at Pearl Webb Cemetery, Canmer, KY.
