Lizzie Lawson Vance Craddock, age 91, of Canmer, passed away Monday, April 30, 2018 at Sayre Christian Village in Lexington.

She was a longtime member and Sunday School Teacher at Knoxes Creek Baptist Church and retired postmaster for Canmer Post Office.

Lizzie was preceded in death by her husbands, Winford Vance, Tildon Richardson and Dane Craddock; a son, John R. Vance; her parents, Luther Cheek Lawson, Sr. and Mayme Durham Lawson and seven siblings, baby Jonathan Lawson, Gordon Lawson, Durham Lawson, Luther Cheek Lawson, Jr., Jack Lawson, Emma Johnson and Tommy Lawson.

She is survived by a son, Larry (Claire) Vance of Lexington; a brother, Sam Lawson of Louisville; a special grandson, Scott (Amy) Walters of Nashville and special friends, Lucy McCandless and Billy Strange.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM (ET), Thursday, May 3, 2018, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Rev. Rodney Troutman officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pearl Webb Cemetery in Canmer.
