Charles William Kris passed away Thursday, March 17, 2005. He
was born in Dowell, IL. He was a WW II veteran.
He obtained a BS degree in Education from Monmouth College
and a MS degree from Southern Illinois University. He dedicated 30 years of
his life to working with children as a teacher and administrator. He was
involved in developing the Hope D. Wall School for handicapped children in Aurora, IL.
He served as the administrator of the school until his retirement in 1980.
After retirement and moving to Florida, he
worked as a Realtor on Marco
Island. Charles is
survived by his loving wife, Chlo Ann; a son,
David (Karen) of Tampa, FL;
a daughter, Carol Woodword of Naples;
two loving granddaughters, Heather and Amanda Woodword;
brothers-in-law, Bruce (Moselle)
Ruark, Roger Ruark and Robert (Betty) Ruark; and a host of nieces and
nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday, March 21st at 1:00 p.m., Naples Memorial
Funeral Home and Cemetery, 525
111th Avenue North.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
Interment will follow in Naples
Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Georgeson
House Hospice, 1095 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples, FL 34105.
