Claudia Gattshall notes: In the burial records of Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville, KY; Bessie's name is recorded as: Thomas, Bessie B. Lemmons. In her husband's (Frank Lemmons) obituary she was listed as having the maiden name of Green.

Her surviving spouse or nearest kin information is recorded as: C. C. Coates and W. G. Thomas. This was recorded in the Resthaven Memorial Park burial records.

Her death certificate shows she is married to a Mr. Willard L. Thomas. They resided at 1039 Queen Avenue in Louisville, Ky. This Mr. Thomas was also the informant for Bessie's death certificate.

Coates; two daughters, Mrs. Sarah Rose and Mrs. Gladys Wilkinson; two brothers, B. B. Green, Campbellsville, and D. O. Green; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Lee, Greensburg and Mrs. Elizabeth Nevins, Selina, Tenn., and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the residence. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
