HESTAND ? Ralph Odle, 76, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2006, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.

He was born in Monroe County on Jan. 26, 1930, and was a son of the late Lushen Christopher Odle and Desta Maude Shaw Odle. Mr. Odle was a veteran of the Korea War and a farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Nelma Short Odle; three daughters: Debbie Roberson, Sandra Guffey and husband Stevie, and Tammy Spear and husband Chris, all of Tompkinsville; two brothers: Earl T. Odle and David M. Odle, both of Hestand; seven sisters: Margie E. Browning of Acworth, Ga., Alice P. Brown of Morgantown, Mary Ann Survance of Indianapolis, Ind., Sara M. Barrows of Marietta, Ga., Maggie B. Hutchenson of Indianapolis, Ind., Maxine Wright of Marietta, Ga., and Marcella Odle of Georgia; and six grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Edley L. Odle and Riley E. Odle; and one grandchild, Chasity Guffey.

Funeral services will be Friday at 3 p.m. at the Yokley-Trible Funeral Home, Tompkinsville, with Brother Amon Martin officiating. Burial will be in the Bailey Cemetery.

Friends may call after 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
