From Hwy 31-W in Franklin, Simpson Co, KY turn onto Black Jack Road (Hwy 1171) and go 7.3 mile NE. The Hillsdale Missionary Baptist Church and Cemetery is on the south side of the road in Hillsdale. The Hillsdale Methodist Church is across the road from the Baptist Church.

Powell on 05 Jun 1901 in Simpson Co, KY and had a son Johnnie Gray Powell.
