Ruth Callahan age 79 of Horse Cave passed away Friday July 22, 2016 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.  She was a native of Monroe County , Kentucky and had lived in Canmer for many years prior to moving here. She was a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church at Uno.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Judy Samson Lyons , four sisters, six brothers and by one son, David Lyons.

Miss Ruth is survived by several nieces and nephews, a grandson and his wife and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday July 24, 2016 in the Chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Pearl Webb Cemetery at Canmer.

Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 12 noon until service time at 2 on Sunday.
