Old Knox’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery AKA Sulphur Springs Cemetery East of Linwood off Highway 566 Hart County , Kentucky Location: At the intersection of US 31E and Hwy 566 (aka Eve Highway), turn East onto Highway 566 and proceed 0.9 miles to Knoxes Creek Baptist Church. Take a hard right onto Knoxes Creek Road and proceed 0.4 miles. The cemetery is in a wooded area on the left, about 30-40 feet from the road. Description: It has been said that this is the site of the first of four church buildings for Knoxes Creek Baptist Church, established in 1804. There are possibly as many as 100 unmarked graves. Currently, it is overgrown, and a considerable amount of clean up is needed.Provided by Dee Tapp
