Diana notes: I have not been able to find her birth date, but she died Dec. 1899, md. to David Rush Bratcher. She was his first wife. She died of pneumonia 13 mths after my grandmother, Rosa Ann Bratcher, was born. Grandfather David carved her name with a nail, as he was young and unable to afford a stone. She's the daughter of Andrew and Rosa Ann Perkins-Smith. I've been told she was born and raised in Wax, Grayson Co, KY.
