Charles Buddy Logsdon - (1934 - 2010) Charles Buddy Logsdon, 75, Cave City, passed away at his home on Monday, March 8, 2010, after waging a one year battle with pancreatic cancer. The Hart County native was the son of the late Frank and Violet Mae England Logsdon. Buddy retired from Frito-Lay in 1989 after 31 years of service. He served in the US Army from 1955 to 1957. He was a member of the Cave City Church of Christ where he served as an elder since 2005. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Jerry Doyle Logsdon, Cave City; a son Charles Thomas (Lisa) Logsdon of Noblesville, IN; a daughter, Trena (Donnie) Burchett of Glasgow; four grandsons, Ben Wilhoite, Jeremy Wilhoite, Charlie Logsdon, Jake Logsdon; a great grandson, Skylar Wilhoite; a great granddaughter, Kaleigh Wilhoite; two brothers, Bob (Barbara) Logsdon, Cave City, Kenneth (Kate) Logsdon, Dallas, TX and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Franklin Logsdon and an infant brother. Funeral services with Bro. Wayne Hatcher and Bro. Don Smyth officiating will be at 1 PM, Friday, March 12 at Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel with burial in the Cave City Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be after 10 AM Thursday.
