Daniel Trigg Curd - (1924 - 2009) Daniel Trigg Curd, III, 85, Cave City, entered into rest on Monday, December 21, 2009, at his home. He was the son of the late Daniel Trigg Curd II and Virginia Alice Hoover Curd and the widower of Elizabeth Veatrece Curd. He was a WW II Army Veteran, past member of the American Legion, Civitan Club and Caveland Country Club. He was a past Chairman of the Board for Green River Valley Water District. He retired from the United States Postal Service after 37 years. He attended the Cave City Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Allison (Bob) Burns, Labelle, Florida and Stacy (Dale) Graves, Cave City; a daughter-in-law, Mitzi Curd Judd, Horse Cave; Grandchildren, Kellie Nichole Rountree, LeeAnn Graves, Hillary Curd, Alice Curd, Elizabeth Burns, Hailey Graves and Bailey Graves; great-grandchildren, Trinitie Rounree, Laira Rountree, Isaac Donmyer and Abigal Warden; a brother Brent Alton (Julie) Curd, Chula Vista, CA; sisters, Mary Virginia Burd, Betsey Allison Brown, both of Cave City, Rebecca (Jon) Goodman, Munfordville. He was preceded in death by a son, Kelly Trigg Curd, a brother, William Martin Wilson Curd and infant brother, Price Curd. Funeral services with Rev. Stephen Cavness officiating will be at 1:30 PM Sunday, December 27 at the Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel, Cave City, with burial in the Cave City Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be on Saturday from 3 to 9 PM and on Sunday from 10 AM until time of services.
